CEO Dave Holmes attributed the downturn to persistent uncertainty within the retail market. Despite the broader revenue contraction, Socket Mobile maintained operating expenses at $2.6 million, a figure consistent with both the previous quarter and the prior year’s performance.
Management is now shifting focus toward aggressive cost management initiatives for the remainder of the year. Executives plan to discuss these results and long-term outlooks during a conference call scheduled for today.
