Fairground Launches First FAST Channel Dedicated to AI Cinema

The project serves as a distribution bridge between niche AI creators and the traditional television ecosystem. Founded by Xumo pioneer Colin Petrie-Norris, Fairground Entertainment aims to legitimize "AI Cinema"—a medium blending generative tools with high-end production values—by providing a direct path to the living room screen.

Programming will feature contributions from prominent figures including TED speaker Kelly Boesch, BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Ryan Phillips, and the Phantom X Studio trio of Kavan the Kid, Mike J Mitch, and S.A.V. The schedule also incorporates works from over 40 specialized production houses, such as Wonder Studios and Massive Studios, covering everything from anthology series to music videos. By leveraging partnerships with tech entities like Google DeepMind and ElevenLabs, these studios aim to pair rapid AI production workflows with the polish of traditional broadcast standards. This rollout represents a significant expansion for the $4 million-backed platform, which seeks to formalize the creative output of a global community that currently spans over 30 countries.
