Cameron Esposito Takes the Helm for King of Drag Season 2

Comedian and LGBTQ+ advocate Cameron Esposito is set to host the second season of Revry’s drag king competition series, King of Drag. The eight-episode season premieres on September 20, shifting the spotlight onto a diverse array of performers while introducing a revamped judging panel to evaluate the craft.

Esposito joins a newly assembled Kings’ Court, which features series co-creator Damian Pelliccione alongside drag artist Gottmik and actor Vico Ortiz. The production aims to build on the momentum of its debut, which captured 33 million minutes of viewing time and earned two Queerty Award nominations. This season, the competition continues its mission to explore and subvert traditional expressions of masculinity through performance.

The show has expanded its reach by inviting a rotating roster of high-profile guest judges, including Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, Yvie Oddly, and Ginger Minj. Beyond the new faces, the season serves as a platform for returning talent; Season 1 standouts like Henlo Bullfrog and King Perk will transition into judging roles, while others make cameo appearances. This reinvestment in the show's original cohort underscores a commitment to elevating artists from lesbian, transmasculine, and nonbinary communities. With E.l.f. Cosmetics returning as the presenting sponsor, the series remains accessible for free via the Revry streaming app.
