Nulo and Petco Launch Nationwide Search for Elite Pet Athletes

The contest seeks to identify six winning pets—three dogs and three cats—to be crowned Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists. Each winner will sign a Team Nulo endorsement contract, a first-of-its-kind initiative that includes merchandise, supplies of Nulo food, and, for the top performers, a personalized feature on custom product packaging.

Judging the submissions are Team Nulo ambassadors and Olympic medalists Ryan Crouser, Regan Smith, and Jessica Long. They will evaluate entries based on talent, entertainment value, and creativity. Crouser, a three-time Olympic gold medalist in shot put, noted that the contest highlights the athletic spirit inherent in pets, citing his own dog, Koda, as a regular training partner. To enter, participants must post their pet's athletic highlights on Instagram, tagging @nulopetfood and @petco with the hashtag #Nulo_Contest. The partnership also includes a promotional discount at Petco locations, where customers can receive 20% off Nulo purchases of $26 or more throughout the duration of the games.
