Newforma Enlists AWS for Seven-Year AI and Cloud Overhaul

The collaboration targets a comprehensive overhaul of Newforma’s primary offerings, including the Newforma Project Center and the cloud-native Newforma Konekt platform. By leveraging Amazon Bedrock, the company intends to deploy automated document review and compliance tools. CEO Peter Cannone stated that the initiative aims to provide AECO firms with increased flexibility and a more robust security posture as they transition their workflows to the cloud.

Technical execution is being managed alongside zeb, an AWS Premier Tier Partner. zeb has been instrumental in the migration assessment and the development of initial AI workloads. According to Newforma CTO Ben Bazso, the project extends beyond mere infrastructure upgrades, serving as a long-term strategy to accelerate the delivery of intelligent, data-driven features for a sector that manages over 20 million projects globally.
