The program centralizes key administrative functions under Transamerica Fiduciary Services, which assumes the role of pooled plan provider. By consolidating these duties—including the filing of a single Form 5500 and conducting a unified audit—the plan seeks to reduce the operational friction typically associated with retirement benefits. Advo(k)ate Advisors, backed by Osaic, will provide investment oversight as the named ERISA Section 3(38) fiduciary.
Darren Zino, head of retirement distribution at Transamerica, noted that the partnership prioritizes fee transparency and participant engagement tools. The offering includes access to the OnTrack guidance platform and Managed Advice for investment management, alongside human support services intended to boost employee participation rates. For employers, the plan integrates with more than 125 payroll providers to automate data flow and improve accuracy.
