Since its founding in 2006, Kapitus has facilitated $10 billion in growth capital to more than 65,000 businesses, offering products ranging from SBA loans and term loans to equipment financing. Under the terms of the agreement, Kapitus will maintain its independent operations, continuing to serve its nationwide client base while leveraging InterVest’s expertise and financial resources to accelerate product expansion.
Andrew Reiser, CEO of Kapitus, noted that the partnership provides the strategic support necessary to meet increasing demand for small business credit. Steven Tenenbayev, Chief Investment Officer at InterVest, emphasized that the acquisition underscores the firm’s confidence in the small business sector as a primary engine for domestic economic growth and job creation.
