Investors Face August Deadline in Via Transportation Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased common stock in Via Transportation, Inc. during its initial public offering have until August 10, 2026, to file as lead plaintiffs in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation targets alleged misrepresentations within the company's offering documents regarding its growth trajectory and market performance.

The complaint filed by the Rosen Law Firm alleges that Via's IPO prospectus contained false and misleading information. Specifically, the suit claims the documents failed to disclose declining Platform Annual Run-Rate Revenue and significant hurdles to expansion in the German market. Since the IPO, Via shares have plummeted by nearly 70%, hitting a low of $14.52 per share as these operational challenges surfaced.

Investors who acquired stock traceable to the IPO may be eligible for compensation through a contingency fee arrangement. While a class action has been initiated, no class has been certified yet, meaning investors are not represented by counsel unless they choose to retain one. Those wishing to serve as a lead plaintiff must move the court by the August 10 deadline, though investors may also choose to remain absent members of the class.
