The legal action, brought by the firm Morgan & Morgan, details a series of failed cosmetic procedures ranging from breast augmentations to abdominal surgeries. One plaintiff claims that a 2025 tummy tuck and fat grafting procedure resulted in dead tissue and fluid accumulation, requiring invasive wound management that left her permanently scarred. Another patient alleges Hochstein implanted unapproved mesh without proper disclosure, leading to severe asymmetry that necessitated corrective surgery by a different physician.
The third complaint centers on a series of breast procedures dating back to 2022. The patient alleges that a revision surgery performed by Hochstein failed to correct existing issues, instead exacerbating a condition known as symmastia, where implants shift toward the breastbone. Attorneys John Morgan and Jack Cook argue that the surgeon’s actions caused not only physical harm but also significant emotional distress, noting that the intimate nature of the injuries has profoundly impacted the patients' identities.
These filings add to an existing legal battle, as the same firm previously represented a patient in a separate lawsuit against Hochstein in June 2025. While the plaintiffs seek compensation for mounting medical bills, lost wages, and the cost of future corrective operations, the allegations have yet to be proven in court. Hochstein, who also faces a separate lawsuit involving allegations of sexual assault, has not publicly responded to these latest claims of professional misconduct.
