For the character’s final moments, the production team confined Elordi to a coffin, where the actor remained for 48 hours—blinded by prosthetics and unable to move his arms while the lid was sealed shut.

Despite the claustrophobic conditions, the most unexpected element was a snake co-star meant to deliver a fatal bite. Elordi described the reptile as remarkably docile, comparing its temperament to a sleepy puppy rather than a menacing predator.
