The upcoming location, situated at the intersection of Turk Hill Road and State Route 96, will join a retail lineup that includes Michaels. According to Michael Boynton, vice president of leasing for property owner Benderson Development, the arrival of the retailer represents a significant milestone for the site. The store will offer the brand's standard mix of discounted apparel, beauty products, and home goods, alongside service-oriented features such as in-store pickup for online orders from Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com.
Gemma Lionello, president of Nordstrom Rack, stated that the move allows the company to grow its footprint while introducing new customers to their specific retail experience. The company currently operates 15 total locations across New York, employing more than 2,200 people statewide. By integrating this new space, the retailer seeks to continue its strategy of using off-price outlets as a primary driver for acquiring new customers.
