Samsung turns London pub into foldable device showcase

A folded bar at 15 Bateman Street marks the launch of The Fold Inn, an immersive pop-up in Central London. Open through July 25, the venue reimagines the traditional British pub to mirror the design and versatility of Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z series foldable smartphones.

The experience offers three distinct areas, each curated to reflect the personality of a specific device. Visitors can sample the Soho Sippa, a drink designed for content-focused users of the Galaxy Z Fold8, or transition to the City Pour, which targets the productivity-minded demographic utilizing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. For the trend-conscious, the Shoreditch Pint area features a folding pool table inspired by the Galaxy Z Flip8.

Benjamin Braun, Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Europe, described the initiative as a way to bring foldable innovation into a cultural setting. By transforming an iconic London space, the company aims to highlight how the Galaxy Z lineup integrates into diverse lifestyles, ranging from multitasking professionals to style-focused socialites. The pub operates from 11am to 8pm, serving as a physical extension of the brand's recent Galaxy Unpacked event.
