Nota AI Partners with AMD to Refine On-Device Robotics Intelligence

Seoul-based Nota AI has joined the AMD Robotics Partner Network, aiming to shrink complex AI models for deployment on power-constrained robotic hardware. Announced at the AMD Advancing AI 2026 event in San Francisco, the collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between heavy software demands and the limited compute resources of physical machines.

The AMD Robotics Partner Network functions as a collaborative hub for ODMs, software vendors, and system integrators. By integrating its model compression and hardware-aware optimization technology into this ecosystem, Nota AI intends to reduce computational workloads and memory requirements for autonomous systems. This transition builds on the company’s previous work in smart city infrastructure, industrial safety, and mobility applications.

Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI, noted that physical AI only delivers value when models are tailored to the specific constraints of the host hardware. By leveraging AMD’s compute architecture, the partnership aims to facilitate the development of scalable, autonomous robots capable of perception and reasoning in real-world environments. KV Thanjavur Bhaaskar, Robotics Lead at AMD, highlighted that this network approach is specifically designed to accelerate innovation cycles across the robotics industry.
