Synteq Appoints Eric Yingling as Chief Executive Officer

Yingling previously served as Synteq’s Vice President of HPC, joining the company following the acquisition of Crunchbits, the cloud infrastructure firm he founded in 2017. His technical background in VPS, dedicated servers, and GPU compute now serves as the foundation for Synteq’s core service offerings. As part of this leadership change, Yingling has also secured a seat on the company’s Board of Directors.

Taras Kulyk, who led the firm through its initial growth phase, has moved into the role of Chief Development Officer. According to Jaime Leverton, Chair of Synteq’s board, the search for a new CEO focused on finding a leader capable of scaling the company’s operational discipline. Yingling’s mandate is to leverage the existing IP stack and engineering expertise to capture a larger share of the enterprise market. The company currently operates its own network, AS400304, maintaining infrastructure across multiple global sites.
