Sharon steps into the role with two decades of enterprise software experience, including a decade-long tenure at Emarsys where he managed product strategy through its acquisition by SAP. Most recently, he operated as an advisor for firms navigating AI-first transformations, a background Emplifi CEO Ohad Hecht described as critical for the company’s next phase of growth. The executive will oversee a broad portfolio including engineering, data architecture, and security as the company scales its Fuel AI infrastructure.
The appointment signals a shift in focus toward intelligent orchestration of the customer journey rather than relying on disparate AI tools. Sharon noted that his primary objective is to embed AI into the core of the product development lifecycle to drive more personalized, automated interactions. By leveraging Emplifi’s data pool, which currently processes over 5 trillion data points, the company aims to move beyond standard marketing automation toward fully autonomous customer care models. This leadership change comes as Emplifi continues to position its platform as an essential tool for over 20,000 global brands looking to unify their social marketing and commerce operations.
