Developed alongside Kensett-based Eco Advancements, Inc., the formula aims to mitigate the environmental and financial risks associated with construction delays and weather exposure. By applying the solution directly to wood framing components, builders can prevent the moisture accumulation that frequently triggers long-term air quality issues and subsequent legal challenges.
Industry adoption is already accelerating, with NorCal Lumber and West Coast Framing integrating the product into both pre-fab and on-site building workflows. Wayne Withers, president of NorCal Lumber, cited Conboy’s extensive background in wood chemistry as a primary driver for the firm's transition to the new protection standard. Conboy maintains that the product balances high-performance moisture defense with safety standards for both construction crews and future residents. The product is currently available through authorized distributors and retail partners nationwide.
