Vielle brings extensive experience in managing complex, multi-site operations, having spent the last seven years leading Synerlab Group and its successor, Meribel Pharma Solutions. His tenure there involved oversight of 2,000 employees across 13 facilities in France, Spain, and Sweden. His background also includes a stint as Chief Operating Officer at the animal health firm Vétoquinol and early leadership roles at Unither. An engineer with an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, he specializes in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
He succeeds Dr. Riku Rautsola, who has served as interim CEO since autumn 2025 and will assist with the leadership handover. The appointment is backed by FAMAR’s shareholder, MidEuropa, as the company pushes to modernize its infrastructure, specifically focusing on new sterile fill-finish capacity in Germany. Chairman Peter Prock noted that Vielle’s expertise is central to the firm's strategy of becoming a more agile partner for its biotech and pharmaceutical clients. Vielle plans to focus on scaling the company’s service capacity to match the growth trajectories of its global customers.
