Bodycare Revives UK High Street Presence with Retail247 Tech

After collapsing into administration last year, health and beauty retailer Bodycare is plotting a comeback, targeting 25 new UK store openings in 2026. The chain is anchoring its return with a digital infrastructure overhaul, deploying Retail247’s Origin and Archean platforms to manage its ambitious expansion plans.

The retailer, now under the stewardship of an investor group led by former The Body Shop and Molton Brown CEO Charles Denton, aims to scale to 200 locations within five years. To facilitate this growth, the company has partnered with PMC to design its digital backbone and implemented Retail247’s software to improve inventory visibility and operational decision-making. Retail247 described the deployment as its fastest implementation project to date.

Management, which includes David Stern, Alison Costello, Ryan Newey, and Tash Courtnay-Smith, is focusing on modernizing the brand's operations to support a scalable, value-driven retail model. This digital foundation is intended to provide the agility required for the brand’s rapid return to the UK high street after its 2025 closure.
