Jason Kelce, now an ESPN analyst, described the change during a recent appearance on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast. While his 13-season NFL career already earned him a devoted following, the arrival of Swift introduced the Kelce family to a global audience far beyond the gridiron. Jason noted that the transition was not gradual, but rather a sudden and dramatic flip in the type of fans approaching him in public.
"I went from very much being dominated by large fat men coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls," Jason joked. This expanded interest eventually enveloped his entire family, including his parents, Ed and Donna, and his wife, Kylie.
Beyond the shifting fan base, the brothers’ personal lives recently took center stage at Travis and Swift’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden. Jason served as best man while his four daughters participated as flower girls. Reflecting on the reception, Jason praised his brother’s ability to carry a tune, though he admitted that Travis faced stiff competition on stage from musical legends like Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks. Despite the intense public scrutiny and the "whole 'nother demographic" now watching his every move, Jason maintains that the experience has been a unique chapter for his family.
