The initiative, hosted on the Tiltify platform, marks a return for the project following a hiatus in 2025. By extending the traditional December-focused event into a half-year effort, organizers hope to provide creators of all sizes more opportunities to integrate fundraising into their regular content schedules. The campaign will culminate in a signature Thankmas livestream on December 5, 2026, hosted on McLoughlin’s YouTube channel.
Make-A-Wish America president and CEO Leslie Motter emphasized that the partnership leverages the unique community energy McLoughlin has cultivated over his career. Since 2017, the Thankmas initiative has raised millions for global causes, with McLoughlin personally championing the organization and assisting in the granting of over 30 individual wishes. The effort arrives at a critical time for the nonprofit, which continues to work toward its goal of reaching every eligible child facing a critical illness. Through this expanded schedule, supporters can launch individual fundraisers or participate in community-driven events, aiming to reduce the number of children currently awaiting their wish.
