Focus Health Opens 24/7 Emergency Center in East Dallas

The clinic operates around the clock, providing board-certified emergency physicians and a full suite of diagnostic tools, including CT scans, digital X-ray, and ultrasound. According to Dr. Steven H. Thompson, Chief Medical Officer at Focus Health, the center was designed to ensure families receive high-quality care without the hours-long delays often found at major hospitals. The facility also functions as an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, matching the core capabilities of hospital-based emergency rooms.

Focus Health, which also manages ER of Irving and ER of Lufkin, will host a public ribbon-cutting event on Thursday, August 13, 2026. From 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the community is invited to tour the facility, meet the medical staff, and participate in family-friendly activities. Beyond patient services, the opening introduces new healthcare positions for local physicians, nurses, and support technicians in the East Dallas region.
