Guidehouse Expands Executive Suite with New CFO and Transformation Chief

McLean-based professional services firm Guidehouse has appointed Kelly Hernandez as Chief Financial Officer and Stuart Brown as its first Chief Transformation Officer. These strategic additions arrive as the firm accelerates a $1.5 billion investment plan focused on AI-enabled operations and long-term enterprise growth across government and commercial sectors.

Hernandez transitions to the CFO role after serving in the same capacity at Clark Construction Group. Her background includes senior leadership positions at Leidos, where she managed investor relations and financial strategy. CEO Scott McIntyre noted that her experience in organizational scaling will be central to managing the firm’s ongoing investments and expanding client service capabilities.

Stuart Brown, who joined Guidehouse in early 2025, steps into the newly created Chief Transformation Officer position to oversee the firm’s shift toward AI-driven delivery. His mandate involves integrating technology and industry expertise to help clients modernize operations within highly regulated environments. According to company president John Saad, Brown’s appointment aims to unify the firm’s technology roadmap as it moves beyond experimental AI projects toward measurable outcomes for its 18,000-strong global workforce.
