The partnership debuts two distinct hardware models: a full-scale, self-service vending kiosk tailored for amusement parks and shopping centers, and a compact 'Mini Pro' countertop version built for convenience stores. Each unit utilizes proprietary robotics to spin cotton candy on demand, offering a rotating menu of four to six signature ICEE flavors.
Sweet Robo CEO Piny Vind noted that the project aims to bridge the gap between classic consumer nostalgia and modern retail engagement. Following a successful preview at the Sweet & Snacks Expo in Las Vegas, the company is positioning these machines as turnkey revenue drivers for operators. Ken Whiting, President of Santa Cruz Fun Foods, emphasized that the collaboration allows the brand to reach consumers through an interactive platform rather than traditional retail channels. Commercial deployments are scheduled to begin appearing in customer locations throughout the summer of 2026.
