Greater Des Moines Partnership Named 2026 Chamber of the Year

The award recognizes the Partnership’s integration of economic development and traditional chamber functions into a single, unified platform. Representing 13 counties through a network of 25 affiliate chambers, the organization currently stands as the second-largest regional chamber in the United States. Its influence extends across a massive base of 7,200 regional members and 400 investors, focusing on talent development and business growth strategies.

Since 1999, the group’s coordinated regional efforts have facilitated $17.1 billion in capital investment and supported the creation or retention of 40,500 jobs. Current momentum remains high, with $5.7 billion in active projects and an additional $2 billion in the pipeline. Tiffany Tauscheck, President and CEO of the Partnership, credited the achievement to the collective commitment of board members, regional investors, and the staff's dedication to collaborative local governance. Chris Costa, the 2026 Board Chair, noted that the win validates years of effort to move the region forward through tangible, measurable economic results.
