Via Transportation Investors Face August 10 Deadline in Class Action

Investors who purchased Via Transportation, Inc. common stock following the company’s September 2025 initial public offering have until August 10, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a pending class action lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York.

The lawsuit, Garlesky v. Via Transportation, Inc., alleges that the firm’s IPO documents contained materially misleading information regarding the company's growth trajectory and regulatory hurdles. Specifically, the complaint claims that Via Transportation was acquiring customers at a rate that outpaced revenue generation, leading to a decline in platform annual run-rate revenue per client. Additionally, the suit asserts that the company failed to disclose regulatory barriers that impeded its expansion strategy in Germany.

Financial disclosures made throughout late 2025 and early 2026 triggered significant market reactions. Following reports of declining revenue per customer in November 2025, the stock price fell nearly 13%. Subsequent disclosures in February and May 2026 regarding continued German regulatory headwinds resulted in further declines of 8% and 17%, respectively. By the May 2026 announcement, Via Transportation shares were trading at approximately 70% below the initial public offering price of $46.00 per share. Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP is representing the class, and investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff must demonstrate a significant financial interest in the litigation.
