The legal investigation, spearheaded by Hagens Berman, centers on accusations that Erasca executives painted a false picture of their "best-in-class" molecular glue. According to the complaint, the company allegedly utilized flawed preclinical comparisons to claim superiority over rival therapies, such as Revolution Medicines' RMC-6236, while simultaneously masking potential patent infringement and trade secret disputes.
Concerns regarding the company's transparency deepened following disclosures in late April 2026. Erasca revealed that it was facing legal challenges from Revolution Medicines and confirmed a patient death linked to the ERAS-0015 trial. These revelations triggered a collapse in stock value, erasing over $2.8 billion in market capitalization. Reed Kathrein, a partner at Hagens Berman, stated the firm is examining whether these risks were intentionally concealed from the public. Interested parties have until August 10, 2026, to move for appointment as lead plaintiff in the case.
