Humanoid Hits Unicorn Status With $152 Million Series A

UK-based robotics startup Humanoid has secured $152 million in Series A financing, vaulting the company to a $1.35 billion valuation. The capital injection brings the firm's total funding to $270 million, positioning it as Europe's first pureplay humanoid robotics unicorn just two years after its inception.

The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with additional backing from major industrial players including Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures. The company intends to use these funds to scale commercial deployments and expand its footprint across industrial sectors. Humanoid has already established partnerships with global giants such as SAP, NVIDIA, and Siemens.

A significant portion of this growth is anchored by a landmark agreement with Schaeffler, which involves the deployment of thousands of units within manufacturing environments. CEO Artem Sokolov noted that the company has compressed a decade of traditional development into two years. Prime Movers Lab General Partner Zia Huque suggested that Humanoid is set to become a defining player in the European robotics landscape as the sector begins to consolidate around a few key category leaders.
