The KLAS study focused on deep adopters—healthcare organizations that leverage at least three distinct revenue cycle technologies from a single vendor. Among these users, Waystar clients consistently outperformed peers, with up to 100% of those surveyed reporting tangible gains in their cost-to-collect and overall financial performance. These results underscore a shift in the industry toward vendor consolidation, as 57% of respondents identified the need for stronger partnerships and unified systems as primary drivers for their technology choices.
Matt Hawkins, CEO of Waystar, attributed the high marks to the platform's proprietary data and AI-driven workflows. Beyond financial metrics, clients praised the company's commitment to strategic partnership and continuous improvement. By streamlining operations into a single, connected environment, Waystar’s infrastructure helps providers manage the mounting complexities of payer demands and administrative overhead, serving a client base that encompasses over 30,000 organizations and processes $2.4 trillion in annual gross claims.
