The integration brings NYI’s local market expertise under the Spectrum Reach umbrella, effectively streamlining backend operations for advertisers. By removing secondary handoffs, the company intends to provide a more cohesive path for purchasing TV and digital ad space across multiple distributors in the New York Designated Market Area. This expansion continues Spectrum Reach’s existing representation of Comcast and Optimum inventory.
Jason Brown, Executive Vice President of Spectrum Reach, described the consolidation as a strategic move to bolster local insights and advanced advertising solutions. The transition includes hiring select members of the NYI team, who will merge into a unified staff later this year. This workforce shift focuses on scaling streaming and advanced advertising capabilities alongside traditional television, ensuring continuity for current NYI clients as the industry pivots toward more data-driven media buying.
