The actress shared that she found unexpected comfort during the initial days of grief because her sister, Maggie Clarke Lewis, was visiting her in Los Angeles when the news arrived. She credited this timing to a sense of divine orchestration, noting that having her sister nearby during the immediate aftermath served as a vital support system. In her tribute, Hale emphasized the evolution of their relationship, highlighting a deep soul bond that remained constant despite the changing dynamics of her adult life.
Support has flooded in from the entertainment community, including condolences from Pretty Little Liars creator I. Marlene King and co-stars Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish. She remains focused on her spiritual practice to process the loss, describing her father’s passing not as an end, but as a transition into a different form.
