Local caregivers spent days attempting to rescue the injured feline before she was finally transported to a veterinarian on July 3. Alley Cat Allies covered the costs of her medical treatment and is currently overseeing her ongoing recovery.

Coryn Julien, a program communications officer at the organization, stated that the reward aims to secure a felony animal cruelty charge and prison time for the perpetrator. The group maintains that aggressive prosecution of such acts serves as a vital deterrent against future violence.
