Right Traffic Enters Pacific Northwest via Expert Traffic Control Buyout

Beaver-based Right Traffic has finalized the acquisition of Expert Traffic Control, marking its first operational footprint in Oregon. The move integrates the regional firm into a broader North American network, promising to deploy proprietary automated safety technology across the Pacific Northwest’s utility and infrastructure sectors.

Founded in 2022, Expert Traffic Control (ETC) earned its reputation through service to the telecommunications and transportation industries. CEO Trevor Romkey noted that the cultural alignment between the two firms made the acquisition a natural progression for expanding their safety-focused service model. By absorbing ETC, Right Traffic gains a foothold in a competitive market while providing the acquired team with access to its Guardian SmartFlagger—an automated device designed to assist in traffic diversion and worker protection.

Pete Nelson, President and co-owner of ETC, stated that the partnership provides the necessary resources to scale operations without compromising the firm’s commitment to its existing client relationships. As the integration proceeds, the combined entity aims to leverage Right Traffic’s infrastructure to standardize safety protocols across the region’s roadways.
