Benzinga Launches Events Calendar API for Real-Time Market Intelligence

The new interface provides structured, real-time data on investor conferences, conference calls, and corporate presentations. By integrating this feed, brokerages and investment dashboards can automatically update company profiles and alert systems with precise event classifications and importance ratings. The API is updated throughout the trading day, allowing developers to pull data in JSON or XML formats directly into their existing research workflows.

This release expands Benzinga’s existing data suite, which already includes earnings and economic calendars. According to Tommy Cotter, Head of Data Products, the goal is to provide a structured signal for investors who need to stay ahead of market-moving events. By outsourcing the data infrastructure to Benzinga, platforms can bypass the technical burden of maintaining event trackers while providing their users with a deeper layer of contextual market intelligence.
