Brittany Reilly steps into the Chief of Staff role following a tenure as Chief Operating Officer for the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. Her resume includes stints at the White House, the U.S. Department of State, and the Department of Commerce, experience that Executive Director Windle Jarvis expects will bolster the organization’s strategic growth. Reilly will focus on refining operational capacity to meet the nonprofit's increased demand.
Kathleen O'Connor joins the Board of Directors, bringing over two decades of experience in legal and regulatory affairs. Currently an Executive Director at AQR Capital Management, O'Connor previously worked in public policy at Dentons US LLP. Her background in government and civic engagement aligns with the organization's model, which rewards junior service members with travel for completing 25 hours of community volunteer work. Founded in 2021 by Maureen Byrne, the nonprofit continues to leverage this service-for-travel incentive to reconnect military families separated by duty.
