The project will feature a mix of apartment and townhome-style residences designed to serve the influx of professionals drawn to Duke University and the Research Triangle Park. Construction is currently underway with a projected completion date in 2028, aiming to address the persistent demand for premium rental inventory in one of the country’s primary innovation corridors.
JP Ackerman, Chief Revenue Officer at Anchor Loans, cited the transaction as a hallmark of the firm’s institutional capital strategy, which prioritizes execution certainty for experienced sponsors. Since its founding in 1998, Anchor Loans has funded over $23 billion across 38,000 projects, cementing its role as a major player in the residential and multifamily credit landscape. This latest financing arrangement further integrates the lender into the broader Pretium ecosystem, which manages over $67 billion in assets.
