Skymark Airlines Secures Seven Boeing 737-10 Aircraft from ACG

The agreement marks a deepening relationship between the two companies, building on previous leases of Boeing 737-800 models. For Skymark, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, the 737-10 provides a high-capacity option to navigate the slot-constrained environment of Haneda. Thomas Baker, CEO of ACG, noted that the 737-10’s configuration is specifically suited for high-density markets, offering the efficiency required for the airline's growth trajectory.

Skymark President Yoshihiro Miwa stated that the addition of these aircraft will allow the airline to expand its passenger service. This order follows Skymark’s recent milestone in May 2026, when it became the first Japanese carrier to operate the Boeing 737-8. As a launch customer for the 737-10, ACG holds a significant orderbook for the variant, with delivery positions stretching through 2033. The move underscores ACG’s strategy as a major asset manager, currently overseeing a portfolio of approximately 500 aircraft worldwide.
