Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel Marry at Castillo del Lago

The sunset ceremony saw the bride walk down the aisle in a dramatic gown featuring a sculpted bodice, ruffled sleeves, and a long, embroidered train. Healy opted for a traditional black tuxedo, complete with a white floral corsage. Following the vows, the reception transformed into a private concert, with Healy taking the stage alongside his bandmates. The historic Hollywood Hills property, previously owned by Madonna, hosted a guest list packed with industry figures, including Charli XCX and drummer George Daniel, as well as Emily Ratajkowski and Fai Khadra.

Charli XCX shares a deep connection with the couple, having mentored Gabbriette during her time as the lead vocalist of the band Nasty Cherry. The wedding festivities spanned the weekend, beginning with a rehearsal dinner at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood. Healy’s parents, actors Denise Welch and Tim Healy, traveled from the United Kingdom to celebrate the union. Welch, who previously praised the couple’s engagement and the groom’s choice of a custom black diamond ring, described Gabbriette as the ideal addition to the family. The couple, who were first linked in September 2023, announced their engagement last June.
