AeroVironment Investors Face July 27 Deadline in Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased AeroVironment, Inc. securities between June 25, 2025, and March 10, 2026, have until July 27, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation, filed in the Eastern District of Virginia, alleges the company misled shareholders regarding competitive threats.

The lawsuit, titled Norrell v. AeroVironment, Inc., et al, asserts that the company and its executives failed to disclose material risks concerning its contracts with the U.S. Space Force. Specifically, the complaint alleges that AeroVironment understated the likelihood of imminent competition for its work on the Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource program and the modernization of the Satellite Control Network. By omitting these competitive pressures, the firm allegedly overstated its business and financial prospects to investors.

Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC, the firm representing the plaintiffs, is currently managing the outreach for potential claimants. While investors have until the July 27 deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff, the firm notes that individual investors do not need to serve in this capacity to remain eligible for a potential recovery. Those seeking further information or legal representation are directed to contact managing partner Lewis Kahn.
