The Supernova Hawking marks the second collaboration between the British watchmaker and the Hawking family. Housed in a 41mm ultra-black DLC-treated 904L stainless steel case, the watch features a complex, multi-layered construction. Its dial is designed to mimic spacecraft solar arrays, utilizing a galvanic black grid and meteorite sub-dials. At the 6 o'clock position, the watch displays Hawking’s black hole temperature equation, grounding the luxury design in the scientific theories that defined his career.
Technically, the timepiece is powered by the chronometer-rated BC77 movement, which provides a 62-hour power reserve. Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato noted that the design seeks to capture the complexity and quiet power of black holes. The exhibition case back reinforces this theme, revealing a custom rotor decorated with a swirling black hole motif. Available on either an integrated steel bracelet or a rubber strap, the model is built to reflect the brand's focus on resilience and precision in demanding environments.
