Systematic investing has long remained the exclusive domain of those with institutional data access and deep engineering resources. While 73% of investors currently leverage AI for financial tasks, existing chatbots fail to provide the rigorous backtesting necessary to validate strategies against historical market data. Horizon Trade addresses this by integrating a high-fidelity backtesting engine with live-trading execution, effectively lowering the barrier for independent traders.
Users can input specific trading rules—ranging from simple entry-exit points to complex sector-rotation models—and the system automatically generates the underlying code. By stress-testing these strategies against years of historical data, the platform ensures that ideas are statistically sound before any capital is deployed. Once validated, traders can execute these strategies across a wide array of brokerages and exchanges, including Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and E*Trade.
"Building a chatbot with market data is one thing, but building infrastructure investors can trust with real capital is something else entirely," said Tuvia Ohana, Co-Founder and CEO of Horizon. The company, led by a team with deep roots in cybersecurity, aims to remove technical friction, allowing both retail investors and professional portfolio managers to build and refine strategies through simple dialogue. Avi Eyal, Managing Partner at Entrée Capital, noted that the platform’s ability to share successful strategies may position it as a defining tool for intelligent investing in the current agentic era.
