The collaboration marks a shift in how Hexaware manages engineering workflows, utilizing Factory’s autonomous Droids to handle code generation, testing, and migration. Before offering the solution to external clients, Hexaware acted as "Customer Zero," deploying the platform across its own internal engineering environment to stress-test governance and safety protocols. According to David Corrado, SVP of Strategic Global Clients, this internal trial resulted in five to ten times greater production-ready output.
Hexaware teams are now tasked with embedding these agents into existing toolchains, including GitHub, Jira, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines. The focus remains on industries where governance and compliance are critical. In banking and professional services, the platform is being used to ensure that automated code generation remains audit-ready. Matan Grinberg, CEO of Factory, noted that Hexaware’s ability to prove the platform’s efficacy on its own codebases was the deciding factor in the partnership, providing the credibility needed to deploy agent-native tools in complex, high-stakes environments.
