The dual ranking reflects PTC’s strategy to support both large-scale discrete manufacturers and agile, fast-growing product companies. According to Gartner, PLM systems are increasingly critical as the backbone for AI-driven transformation. Current projections suggest that by 2030, more than 60% of manufacturers will rely on PLM as the core foundation for innovation and development, a significant jump from the current 20% adoption rate.
Neil Barua, President and CEO of PTC, noted that the recognition validates the company’s approach to building a robust product data foundation. As AI begins to reshape product creation and maintenance, the company is prioritizing its Intelligent Product Lifecycle vision. By connecting systems of record, PTC aims to help manufacturers accelerate time-to-market, manage regulatory compliance, and reduce operational costs. The company currently supports over 30,000 customers globally, leveraging its software to bridge the gap between design, manufacturing, and service.
