Uber Eats Expands Delivery Reach With GameStop and Co-op Partnerships

Gamers and grocery shoppers are gaining new delivery options as Uber Eats formalizes partnerships with GameStop in the United States and the East of England Co-op across the UK. These moves signal a broader push by the platform to dominate the on-demand logistics market for specialized retail and essential goods.

In the US, the deal with GameStop allows customers to order consoles, controllers, and collectibles directly through the Uber Eats app for immediate or scheduled delivery. Hashim Amin, Head of Grocery and Retail for Uber in North America, noted that consumers increasingly demand the same speed for gaming hardware as they do for grocery staples.

Across the Atlantic, the East of England Co-op is deploying rapid delivery services to 33 stores in East Anglia. This expansion complements the retailer's existing digital offerings through platforms like Just Eat and Snappy Shopper, supported by a promotional incentive of five pounds off orders exceeding twenty-five pounds.
