Dr. Tyrone Clark Named Pinnacle Professional of the Year

Clark’s influence spans multiple roles, most notably his tenure with Gideons International, where he served as State Chaplain from 2019 to 2022 and State President until 2025. His approach combines rigorous biblical teaching with personal storytelling, a method reflected in his recent literary work. His 2025 book, Are You Afraid to Step Off the Boat, joins his three-part series, My Journey in Grace, to provide readers with practical frameworks for navigating modern spiritual challenges.

His academic foundation includes a PhD in Theology from Ascend Christian University, completed in 2025, following a Master’s degree from The Theological Institute of Florida. Before his focus shifted entirely to ministry, Clark served in the military, earning the Defense Meritorious Service Medal in 1988. He attributes his leadership style to the early guidance of his mother and various female mentors who shaped his perspective on faith.
