The transition begins this September, with the company promising a seamless handover for commercial clients. Atlantic Energy confirmed that existing contract terms will remain unchanged throughout the migration, ensuring service continuity for all acquired accounts. Kris Hertel, Senior Vice President of Sales, stated the acquisition aligns with their broader growth strategy and reflects a commitment to long-term investment in the PJM region.
This portfolio integration supports Atlantic Energy’s focus on disciplined risk management by adding a stable base of commercial relationships. Since its founding in 2012, the firm has expanded its footprint to provide electricity in eleven states and natural gas in seven, currently serving over 50 utilities. The purchase serves to reinforce the company's standing as a primary retail supplier in the mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets.
