The pair brings over two decades of combined experience across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the UK. They will oversee a network of approximately 1,000 members focused on navigating the complexities of AI, automation, supply chain logistics, and sustainability. Russ Shaw, founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates, noted that the group has evolved from a small internal team into a global community designed to connect those building retail technology with those deploying it.

Oliver Kaye, whose background includes senior leadership roles at Tesco, Selfridges, and Lenskart, emphasized the importance of filtering out market noise to focus on practical innovation. The group intends to release further strategic plans later this summer, building on a decade of community development.
