Castorama Opens Amazon Storefront in French Retail First

Castorama has broken new ground for the French DIY sector by launching an official storefront on Amazon. The move allows customers to purchase Kingfisher-owned brands such as Erbauer, Magnusson, MacAllister, and GoodHome directly through the global e-commerce giant, marking a significant expansion of the retailer's digital ecosystem.

Alongside the Amazon launch, Castorama has partnered with fintech firm Storfund to integrate its Daily Advance liquidity solution into the Castorama marketplace. This integration aims to provide third-party merchants with faster access to funds, allowing sellers to manage cash flow more effectively and reinvest in inventory with greater speed. Séverine Geoffroy, Directrice Market Place at Castorama, noted that improving financial fluidity for marketplace vendors is a central component of their strategy to scale operations with confidence. For Storfund, the deal represents its first collaboration with the Kingfisher group, which maintains a footprint of over 1,900 stores across seven countries, further cementing the fintech provider’s role in the French marketplace landscape.
