Evri Group Surpasses One Billion Annual Parcel Deliveries

The newly consolidated Evri Group is now processing over one billion parcels annually, a surge driven by the rapid expansion of social commerce and the secondary market. CEO Martijn de Lange attributes this milestone to a permanent shift in consumer behavior that demands greater flexibility and convenience in delivery services.

This growth follows the company's recent structural expansion, including its merger with DHL eCommerce UK and the acquisition of Coll-8. To support its goal of becoming the UK’s largest parcel provider by 2030, Evri has committed £50 million to expand its ParcelShop and locker network. The company aims to increase its annual volume to 1.4 billion parcels within the next five years.

Operational scaling is supported by a heavy reliance on automation. The firm has deployed Veri-snap, an AI-driven system that monitors millions of delivery photographs daily to maintain service standards. This is paired with an updated courier app and a revamped AI chatbot, designed to reduce resolution times for customer inquiries and streamline account management through a new digital client portal.
