The Nectar platform serves as the central data hub for Tenant Inc.’s ecosystem, currently supporting over 40 third-party integrations alongside the company’s Hummingbird and Mariposa software. While the API has long facilitated data movement between these systems, the shift allows LLMs to process structured data to generate real-time insights or automate complex tasks without custom software development cycles.
CEO Lance Watkins argues that industry-standard data access is often restricted by vendor permission rather than true ownership. By opening the API documentation, Tenant Inc. enables developers to utilize AI to generate code for custom integrations in days. Early implementations include automated end-of-day summary agents that track delinquencies and revenue, as well as single-prompt dashboards that pull facility metrics directly from the management system.
