Cheetah Girls Reunion Sparks Family Feud Over Kiely Williams' Exclusion

The announcement of a fourth Cheetah Girls film has ignited a public firestorm, with Tse Meidas Williams labeling Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon as hateful and two-faced. The controversy centers on the exclusion of her sister, original cast member Kiely Williams, from the upcoming project, 'The Cheetah Girls 4: Next Gen.'

The tension stems from long-standing fractures within the group, dating back to their time together in the musical act 3LW. While Disney confirmed the 2027 film will feature Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon, along with returning stars Sabrina Bryan, Lynn Whitfield, and Lori Alter, Kiely Williams remains notably absent. Her sister, Tse, took to X to voice her frustration, accusing the lead actresses of villainizing Kiely and dismissing Sabrina Bryan as a 'pick me' for her continued association with them.

Personal conflicts have shadowed the franchise for years. During a 2020 Instagram livestream, Raven-Symoné and Kiely Williams addressed past on-set friction, with Raven-Symoné citing feelings of exclusion during the early films. The divide deepened when Kiely rejected efforts to reconcile with Bailon, citing a lack of support during the death of her father. Despite the public hostility, Bryan has maintained a close bond with Kiely, serving as maid of honor at her wedding and frequently speaking of their enduring friendship. The new film, executive produced by Raven-Symoné and Debra Martin Chase, will shift the narrative toward a new generation of pop stars while featuring the original leads in a storyline set at an African wildlife sanctuary.
